AGRI-COOL at the WEFE Cluster

AGRI-COOL is proud to participate on the 24th of January 2025 in the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Cluster, showcasing innovative solutions for reducing post-harvest food losses, improving storage systems, and supporting farmers in adapting to climate challenges. By leveraging renewable energy for cooling, AGRI-COOL promotes sustainable food preservation for off-grid communities.

This year, AGRI-COOL joins six other cutting-edge R&D projects to foster innovation and clean energy solutions in Africa. The initiative was introduced during the kick-off meeting on the 12th of December 2024, which was attended by Amir Mahmoudi and Mina Shahi from Twente University as AGRI-COOL project coordinators.

The cluster event brings together diverse projects to engage with broader stakeholder communities, maximize collaboration, and amplify joint dissemination efforts.
