The University of Lleida, Spain, hosted the Eurotherm Seminar #119, on 13-15 May 2026. Held in the Lleida, Spain, the theme was focused on the ‘Contribution of thermal energy storage towards decarbonisation’. At the event, our consortium members presented AGRI-COOL to the attendees, comprising of researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, specialising in the field of thermal energy storage (TES).
At the workshop titled “Europe’s corner: Workshop on EU-funded research on TES”, AGRI-COOL was presented by the team from Armengol & Ross Consultors (part of the WATTEGA business union). The presentation also included displaying the AGRI-COOL project poster.
Presented alongside several other European projects, the seminar presented a valuable opportunity for the TES community to discover and discuss the developments in TES research, supported by the EU. The platform also provided a platform for experts from industry and academia to foster dialogue, share insights on their research, and deliberate on scientific challenges that appear.
We are proud to have AGRI-COOL and its representatives contribute to the seminar, and further strengthen the fabric of scientific research and its real-world developmental applications.
