AGRI-COOL at the LTES 2024 Summer School

From September 2nd to 6th, 2024, the Hochschule Luzern (HSLU) in Switzerland hosted the Summer School on Materials for Smart Latent Thermal Energy Storage (LTES 2024). Participants engaged in scientific lectures in the mornings, followed by a group project on science communication in the afternoons. This project focused on how to effectively present research to a non-specialist audience, primarily through short videos.

Bahareh Bakhsh Zahmatkesh, PhD candidate at the University of Twente, used this opportunity to promote the AGRI-COOL project. As part of the group project, Bahareh created a short video aimed at informing the general public about her research on sustainable cooling solutions in agriculture. The project served as a platform for honing her communication skills, ensuring that her research reached a broader audience in an engaging and accessible way.
