On 19 September 2025, the AGRI-COOL project took part in Nit Europea de la Recerca 2025 (European Researchers’ Night), an annual celebration held on the last Friday of September
across more than 300 cities in 30 European countries. The event aims to bring science, innovation, and the work of researchers closer to the public through engaging and accessible activities.
Hosted both on-site at the University of Lleida and online, this edition offered a wide range of workshops, talks, experiments, shows, astronomical observations, and games—designed for all audiences, from school groups and families to young people and adults.
The UDL team represented AGRI-COOL during the event. An AGRI-COOL poster, presented in Catalan and adapted for a general audience, was featured on the event’s official webpage. On-site, a project roll-up was displayed in the area dedicated to EU-funded projects involving the University of Lleida, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about AGRI-COOL’s objectives and its contribution to sustainable cooling solutions.
The event created an excellent opportunity for participants to discover ongoing European research, explore emerging technologies, and gain insight into the scientific challenges currently being addressed across multiple fields.
AGRI-COOL is proud to have contributed to this dynamic and inclusive celebration of research, helping to foster dialogue between scientists and the wider community.
