From 1 to 5 September 2025, the 5th Edition of LTES2025 – International Summer School on Latent Thermal Energy Storage took place at the University of Lleida, Spain, bringing together 40 young scientists and engineers from both academia and industry.
Co-organised by the University of Lleida, the University of Padova, and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts, this year’s programme centred on the theme “From Demand to Application”, offering participants a comprehensive insight into the latest developments in latent thermal energy storage technologies.
Over the five days, attendees benefited from a rich programme combining lectures from leading international experts, communication workshops, and team-based activities aimed at encouraging innovation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving.
The AGRI-COOL project was represented through the participation of the UDL team, Simone Mancin (UNIPD), and Mina Shahi (UT). A project poster was displayed throughout the event, giving visibility to AGRI-COOL’s objectives and progress. This presence provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen synergies with participants and to enhance engagement within the broader scientific community working on thermal energy storage and sustainable cooling solutions.
The AGRI-COOL team looks forward to building on the connections made during LTES2025 as the project continues to advance innovative and sustainable cooling technologies.
